Europe's Top Pirate Games on Android in Q1 2024: A Sensor Tower Analysis

The first quarter of 2024 has seen interesting trends in the pirate game category for Android users in Europe. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of top pirate-themed games.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War by FunPlus International AG displayed a strong start with its release in early January. The game's revenue showed a consistent uptrend peaking at around $378K in the last week of March. Downloads, however, saw a decrease from 227K in mid-January to 40K by the end of March. Weekly active users initially surged to 340K but later stabilized at approximately 236K.

Another variant of the same title, Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, despite having no reported revenue, saw a steady increase in downloads, reaching 42K in late March. The weekly active users count also showed growth, peaking at nearly 32K in the same period.

SayGames Ltd's Pirate Raid - Caribbean Battle experienced a dip in revenue, starting the quarter at around $6K and ending at $2.6K. Downloads followed a similar downward trend from 24K to around 17K, while active users saw a slight recovery from 20K to 22K by the quarter's end.

Lastly, TAPCLAP's Pirate Treasures: Jewel & Gems showed resilience in the market. Revenue remained modest, ending the quarter at about $3K. Downloads saw a slight decline to 10K, and weekly active users decreased but remained strong with 138K in the last week of March.
